To those who struggle. I was until about 5 years ago. Now, I am asleep before my wife even gets to bed. 1. Caffeine; none after 8AM. Believe it or not, that was number 1 for me. That includes, chocolate, any cookies with chocolate chips, or like. 2. Nothing to eat after 6;30 or so. If I eat too late, I lay awake for hours. Heavy carbohydrate meals are really bad for sleep as well. 3. Desserts after dinner. Any measurable sugars after dinner and I am screwed. It's funny. If my wife buys a Carrot cake, which I love, I eat it in the morning. My sleep is now better than any time in my life. I consume so many calories cycling, I crave the sugars as well. Hope some of this stuff helps, There is no torture like laying awake all night. Formerly "Nganga" | |||

Yes it's a bitch. Nowdays I get surprised if I sleep past 430am. I can cope with that but it's the nights where I wake at 1.30-2 that really give me trouble. Ive learned to take 45 minutes where I can during the day which helps. | |||
