He’s a bit eccentric and a bit like Howard Hughes…but I like him.

And I was on record years ago saying I like the man.

Now that he is a Texan…I like him even more.

I think he is way more Texan-like that Mike Mitchell.

Well, Lane....not surprisingly, I disagree with your definition of a Texan. Musk is a South African Nazi. Not a Texan.

Traditionally, Texans have not been folks that bend over and kiss executive ass the way you do. And, they haven't been South African Nazi's who decide to open shop in Texas and call themselve's Texans. That's a joke, right?

We've always kind of gone our own way. Look into it. You might learn something.

By the way, your reference to Howard Hughes is interesting. Because we all know how things worked out for him, right?

My family homesteaded a ranch in Comanche territory a day’s wagon ride west of Fort Richardson in the 1880s. I still own that ranch and have a very large Texas family — 31 first cousins. I am 60 years old and lived myself in Texas the entire time. I know a little bit about Texas, Texans, and Texas History. Wink

As to white Africans from southern Africa…a LOT have moved to Texas. Why? Because they find southern Texas and Texans the most like home and them.

I don't give a shit about your family ranch or how many cousins you have. None of that makes a South African Nazi a Texan. And, I've lived here longer than you.

Nah…my DNA was here first! Wink

But you are right about 1 thing you don’t a shit about anything — that matters.

Learn to read. I don't give a shit about your much-discussed ranch that you always want to talk about.

Exactly you are not really that Texan. Texas was founded in cattle and oil. I support both. Texans are generally interested in other Texan’s ranches and their property getting destroyed by illegal migrant traffic — you not so much. Guaranteed in a poll of what matters to Texans…I would be in the majority and you in the minority.

Sure, Lane. All Texans own ranches and have oil lease interests and they all run their mouths about it every chance they get. The all plan on buying condos in Gaza soon too...just like you.

Delusional.

In Texas outside of the inner cities, a large portion of people work in the oil industry or farming and ranching…albeit they are dwindling. When I was it was the majority.

As to the mouth running, look in the mirror, I often wonder in you are Jim Adler “The Texas Hammer” or Ryan “The Lion” Thompson.

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.
