Illegals do not belong here. If that school system wants this man and he is that good, they should have 'imported' him the right way and paid the fees, done the paperwork, done the security background checks, etc.

I used to live there.

The school system has become infested with DEI issues. I don’t buy that the only qualified candidate for district superintendent was a person who is not a citizen or here legally.

The school board obviously didn’t do much due diligence.

Perhaps he lied to them, but they are showing that they don’t even check basic facts.

Were you there in the late 70s when the advertised it as the "surprising place"? I myself live about 30 miles from it, but don't have much to do with the place.

I lived there in the early 90’s.

I still live close enough that I can pick up WHO.

Des Moines is definitely different than the rest of the state of Iowa.

Put him on the first plane out of the country. Since he already had a removal order don't waste taxpayer money on more charges. If he makes his way back then do it.

Funny the local news people still refer to him as Dr Roberts even tho there is no proof he has the proper degree.

Well, I say prosecute him for the gun charge and fleeing. Once, his teen is up, then deport him as he had his day in Court over his status. He no showed, and the removal order was entered.

I have no dog in the fight, but I hope these folks aren't expecting him to get his position back.
