Trump started it Bill. He came out full of bluster. There were certainly places work needed to be done, and could have been done. One on one meetings could have taken place.
I have seen a few articles on market manipulations with this going on. true?, I would never rule it out.
Steve, nobody on the receiving end of sweeping policy is happy. I explained going through it with obo. I had no-one to pass the cost on to. It's grit your teeth and keep going, it all ends eventually.

Market manipulation like one msn causing the stock market to crash. Thus, allowing himself or others acting in the know to buy up stocks at an artificially depressed price.

Now, I do not believe that. I do not believe Trump is that smart. However, “I have read articles.”

There IS a considerable amount of bullshit involved in this situation, and it comes from every source, starting with the White House. Trump is spouting BS and various Canadian sources are responding in kind. Much like retaliatory tariffs, this is retaliatory bullshit. The best response to Trump's tariffs would be to do nothing but business as usual (while seeking out more reliable trading partners). In Canada, our politicians panicked and overreacted to Trump's rhetoric. Hopefully, they have sense enough to put Trump on "ignore", for the time being. At the same time, Canadians need to pay attention to the fact that Trump wants Carney as PM. Carney is a banker. Trump can manipulate bankers. He's done it all his life. Regards, Bill

i disagree with you as trump understand only one language and it is not the one from the court. our answer was not strong enough as you forgot as well the declaration of 51th state ... and i do agree that we should be worried when trump is choosing on side or another related to our next leader but in the mean time i do not know if the conservatives will have the correct answer and i will still vote for them.

No one overreacted to Trump’s declaration to end their sovereignty.

Trump and his Fake Conservative movement is counting on us to ignore while a man who should not have been deported sets in a foreign prison.
