M.ShyIt’s an epidemic of biblical proportions this pet mania in modern world
One thing is for sure, if I had to pick up shit after my dog in town, you got another thing coming…

crbutlerAt this point, I guess I would say does it really matter?
Folks get x amount of sick leave and can use it. I know a lot of people who use it as extra vacation.
You cannot really enforce use of sick leave to actual illness nowdays. Most employers are calling it "paid time off" and letting you do what you will.

nuteIf my dog was sick I’d stay home to look after him. My employer can either fire me or not, but if they value me as an employee they would make an allowance and give me the time I need. I’m actually a consultant for the business I work for rather than a direct employee but the principal is the same.
I’d be surprised if I’ve taken as many as 10 sick days in my entire working life.
I like my dog better than I like most people.
