One would think that even the most pinheaded Trump supporter would be able to understand, when you foment uncertainty daily (sometimes even intra-daily) in financial markets through on-again, off-again tariffs, threats to fire (without the ability to do so) the Fed chair, slipshod efforts to reduce government waste, etc. investors will flee to other perceived safer havens. Hence folks dump stocks, and instead of investing in bonds which they find now equally scary because you act like a kook, they sell bonds or refuse to buy bonds and force up yields and dump your currency. It is almost like a five year old, or someone with the mind of a five year old, is running the economy. And the MAGAts are cheering about eliminating men in women sports. Hip hip hooray.
