Russian invasion of Ukraine
President Trump said repeatedly that he would end the war in Ukraine within 24 hrs of taking office.

As Russia and Ukraine don't seem to have received the memo and the war carries on I can only conclude that, like so much of what comes out of his mouth, trump is just full of hot air.

Give him time, he’ll do it
Campaign promises might get you in but there is so many scenarios that some things don’t get done right away and sometimes never
Just reflect on out own lives, do we do everything we promise ourselves that we will do it?
Sometimes we do, sometimes we do later and sometimes we don’t…
Don’t let that ruin your day
That particular war will end when people will get tired of dying and run out of money and material
Totally stupid war that could have been prevented with involvement of US and EU but we simply dropped the ball
And blaming just one side don’t do anyone any good

Never been lost, just confused here and there for month or two

There is a difference between saying genuinely that you will do something and pontificating on how great you are to the point of putting a timescale on it, and then not doing it.

If I adopted his attitude in business I would have no clients left. If I say I will do something by a certain date, I will do it. Of course things crop up in real life and I might be sick or have some other emergency, but Im not going to tell a client I will deal with something within 24 hrs and then ignore it.

He didnt just say this once, he repeated it over and over.

Comrade,
This is ALL on Russia, making excuses for Putin is not a good look for a "patriot" such as yourself.

Are eggs 50 cents a dozen yet?

The stupidest people in the world are those who believe anything Trump says, he lies like normal people breathe.

He is indeed full of hot air, a renewable resource. Still and all, Putin can scarcely be expected to be seen as Trump's patsy, and Zelensky is in a bind. Ukraine has the memory of the holodomor, not likely to give up easy.

Trump has the bad habit of relying on tactics where strategy is required, will probably use some variety of blunt instrument for persuasion with little consideration of consequences.

Many, the problem is that Trump knew it was bs when he said. He said it for the sole purpose of duping dummies like you.

It worked.

Like a certain Nazi once said, 'A lie told once remains a lie but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth"

This is what trump lives by, and these morons fully fall in line.

Ok, in fairness he has today said that Vlad better be a good boy and stop his invasion or Trump will sanction any and all Russian trade with the US.

Correct me if I’m wrong but trade between Russia and the US is negligible … and whatever meaningful sanctions can be imposed have already been imposed by the last administration.

Let me know when Putin tucks tail & quits over that. It wasn't even day one. animal When Putin quits, if he does, it will because after a couple of years already down he just can't afford to keep it up. trump's boast is a non starter.
