TR had it right!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
J. Lane Easter, DVM
A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House
No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.
On your brightest day…you couldn’t produce enough brain power to even pique my interest in a game of chess.
Tell me exactly what your article was supposed to prove?
Now Saeed, we all know that the first true 20th-century style concentration camp was built by the British during the Second Boer War to incarcerate and destroy by disease and starvation the Boer women and children they despised so much.
Checkmate if you're so stupid you have to ask. Did you even read the parts about TR's racism? Or, do you just agree with it?
I always thought favorably of TR. I did a thesis on him as an assignment in college where I got to choose the subject. IMO, he was the last good republican POTUS. That's because he had progressivism.
He was an environmentalist and listened to and respected the view of John Muir.
More than a hundred years ago, when the culture, including absence of second thoughts about how minorities and immigrants have been treated?
You're seriously arguing that Roosevelt's comments have a bearing on modern Americans?
. . . they used mercury to treat syphilis and gasoline to treat lice in the early 1900’s too. Better trash the cell phone and computer too.
As the whole context of the quotation shows, Americans are Americans to be treated equally. That distinctions Dr. Easter would place on their citizenship has no place.
I read the article and found it be a bunch of bullshit — bullshit that only a far left ideologue would even waste time reading. It really had no relevance to the paper clipping. Theodore Roosevelt was no more of a racist than George Washington or Thomas Jefferson. They were all just great men of their time.
One is either an American or not.
Only racists (and simpletons Wink) run around screaming racism all the time. Want racism to be a thing of the past (like was near before 0bama)? STFU about it! patriot
Dwight Eisenhower's 1956 republican platform comes to mind. Modern-day Republicans would pass gas over it.
