Trump re: Hillary I guess it was less fun when they tried to apply his own advice to him. “By the way, and if she gets to pick --if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know.”

Yea, I remember it well. I and many others were disgusted at the time. Many also whitewashed it. But we all knew what he meant. It's an example of how Trump says things, the signal, but in this case, the transparency, the plausible denial is weak. And the irony ------ What Trump said is a perfect example of another discussion's point. Maybe not exact quotes, but close enough: "The president should be protected" My response was "and x-presidents too, and all wannabees". "It ain't about the person". MY implication is it's about the institution(s). So, the implication from Trump's statement is utter disrespect for institutions, the founding principles, and more. He made it personal and suggested something unthinkable. And BTW, unforgivable. He's unrepentant. This is a window into his depravity, and because his followers aren't appalled it implicates them as well. Definition: "Depravity goes beyond mere bad behavior — it is a total lack of morals, values, and even regard for other living things, like the depravity of a serial killer." ************* Real conservatives aren't radicalized. Thus "radicalized conservative" is an oxymoron. Yet there are many radicalized republicans. "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." - Sinclair Lewis Per my far-right friend: "reality sucks" D.J. Trump aka Trumpism's Founding Farter, aka Farter Martyr. Qualifications: flatulence - mental, oral and anal.
