Italian Fascism was not racist. You could choose to be part of the “nation.” This was regardless of race. There were thousand Jewish fascist in Mussolini’s party. The Fascist did not even define Judaism based on race.

Mussolini only began a softer agenda of racism in the late 30s because of the influence of Hitler.
