the brave browser doesn't allow ad tracking, other trackers, etc -- it's based off chromium (the code under chrome) and turns off all the stupid ads

My team brought it to me as a "personal recommendation"-- i applied positive entropy to it, and put in my sandbox for a month --

good tool

chrome is leaning into stopping ad blockers (ghostery is the best/default plugin) as there is $$$ motivating that

typical results on 1/2 a day use, 3k ads blocked, 55mb "Saved"

I wonder if any of you remember the government was asking INTEL for a backdoor into ALL INTEL CPU's?

INTEL almost caved in, untill someone leaked the news!

America is so FREE!

Intel never came close and it wouldn't be the chip, it would be the code and os

Oh, just to make a pretty picture, apple is considering abandoning the UK market due to demands for backdoor

The laughable part is WhatsApp is just about cereal box decoder ring level of encryption.. and good old Zuckerberg can see everything inside the channels

I've been using it for the last 6 months and it is indeed a pleasure to use.
