Ukraine (again)
Ukraine (again)
Trump seems to pull figures out of the air on the amount of US support so far provided to Ukraine. A few days ago he said $300 billion, yesterday it was $350 billion ...
The Kiel Institute puts the number at $119 billion and the US defence Dept puts it at $182 billion when the cost of US military training in Europe and the cost of replenishing US arms stocks are added in.
So has anyone got any idea where this $350 billion comes from, or is it just a figment of Trumps imagination and a good hefty chunk of money which will galvanise his support base?

Putin is kicking NATO arse!

MJinesI think Trump has brain farts, unfortunately the farts come out of his mouth. It is hard to ascertain whether they are lies, misstatements, or make believe.

Actually his 3 day war in Ukraine has claimed 1 million casualties on his side. Russia got it's ass kicked in Afghanistan and now again in Ukraine.
What NATO lost is the US now that a russian agent has taken over the White House.

shanksponyIt might be interesting for some to see how it's being reported over here. Especially the focus on the US "absence"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhLcwEGW6ZYIt must be worrying the Russians as twitter is suddenly full of accounts linked Nz by name or reference with tweets like-
"Luxon dosnt speak for New Zealanders"
and
"Who gave Luxon permission to allow New Zealand to conscript its sons to die in Ukraine."
Setting them straight just leads too references to Banderas.

This is big when Japan talks about taking a military role outside of its borders.

Interesting, thx for posting.
Id have no problems with putting UK troops in as peacekeeping. Putin might object but he doesn't get to dictate - his troops are there illegally.

THIS^^^^^ Russia can’t kick Ukraine’s ass, much less NATO. He has been trying for 3 years with little to show for it. Sort of reminds me of the UAE failure to stop the Houthis- although they’ve done a fine job of buying them off….

Vote Trump- Putin’s best friend…

Did THE MAGA ARSEHOLE serve his country?
Oh, I forgot.
CADET BONE SPURS wimped out!
And got rewarded by being appointed CnC of the armed forces!

So no one has anything on which Trump might be basing his claims of $350 billion?
Obviously he must have access to as much briefing on the subject as he wants, so either he’s just lying, or he isn’t clever enough to remember what he’s been told.

THE MAGA ARSEHOLE never to;dither truth.
EVER.
Well, may be when he was with Epstein

Trump seems to think that the survivors of the first holomodor will go with whatever he and Putin decide.
I idly wonder about this...

Trump is doing his level best to force them to do wha5 he says by taking away or shutting off the functionality of the tools Ukraine needs to defend itself.

shanksponyMeanwhile Putin publicly jokes about keeping Trump waiting, and then the outcome is a nothing burger of delay.
No cease fire or other path to peace was possible whilst Ukraine held a chunk of Russian ground in Kursk.
Trump has hamstrung Ukraine sufficiently for Putin to be able to evict Ukraine from its territory. Vlad needed enough time to accomplish that so he is in no hurry.
