Here I thought Conservatives believed and supported the application of due process, the Rule of Law, and order.

President Trump is again using rhetoric to destroy our institutions for his own selfish gain.

A political victory for President Trump and those that support him w this type of behavior is tantamount to setting the Constitution on fire.

It is the same behavior that gave life to Jan 6 and election deniers.

The rhetoric is inspiring widespread calls for violence. In a review of commenters’ posts on three pro-Trump websites, including the former president’s own Truth Social platform, Reuters documented more than 150 posts since March 1 that called for physical violence against the judges handling three of his highest-profile cases – two state judges in Manhattan and one in Georgia overseeing a criminal case in which Trump is accused of illegally seeking to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

This is the brand Dr. Easter is riding with.
“They should all be executed,” added another.
They being judges.

J. Lane Easter, DVM

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

Liberal's support the rule of law?

"Lets trump [pun intended] up a charge against Trump to influence an election. But the statue of limitations has expired. Who cares? We'll think of another "crime". But what could the charge be? I know, We'll come up with it later.
But whatever it was it will be to influence an election!

But wait, isn't that what we are trying to do? Shut up! No, not at all. All we are doing is appointing a biased judge who's daughter is a major fundraiser for the DNC to preside over the trial, getting him to keep Trump off the campaign trail for months, and issue gag orders to keep his mouth shut. Not interfering with an election at all.

And we've got an ace in hole. We'll base our entire case on irrelevant salacious testimony from a porn star that isn't relevant to the crime we haven't thought up yet and a disbarred lawyer, convicted felon, who has admitted to lying and stealing from Trump and admitted he hates Trump and wants him in jail, but in New York, those jurors are stupid enough not to see through it. Don't worry. We'll pull this off.

And if we don't our comrades in Georgia will. RICO -- that's a nice charge, never been done before in this context, but let's hire the prosecutor's boyfriend and let her pay him a lot of money. Then they can take some great trips on the taxpayer's dime. But by crook or otherwise, we're going to get Donald Trump. And we'll sue him civilly for fraud. But the banks aren't complaining and have been paid. Who cares? We'll sue him anyway -- we need to bankrupt him. The main purpose is to keep him off the campaign trail -- don't you get it? I guess so, but isn't that just a bit dishonest? Don't worry about it, the result justifies the means. (said Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Edi Amin, etc.)

A fine commentary on the Democratic Party.

. . . don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time.

Isn't that quote grossly dishonest?

When did the rule of law and accountability thereunder become political, and who dun it - projection much?

And, isn't Trump and his sycophants and Fox making this trial and all other court actions part of his campaign.

Free publicity for the Fascist Fart Martyr.

===================================================

a heated exchange between New York state Judge Juan Merchan and defense witness, attorney Robert Costello

Merchan calls Costello's actions contemptuous, and clears the courtroom, to scold Costello and let him know for certain what will happen if he continues the act for an audience of one.

Trump defense's lone witness Robert Costello was 'utterly contemptuous'

Judge Juan Merchan had to clear the courtroom in Donald Trump’s criminal trial because of the “utterly contemptuous” behavior by witness Robert Costello.

==================================================

As a matter of fact, all Trump supporters are "contemptuous" of the rule of law and constitution.

'Unified Reich'

It's another version of twittering "read my lips" thing, but he and his sycophants mean it.

This was a big OOOPS. The game for a fascist Reich wannabee is never say it outright, always spin.

Of course, Project 2025 spells it out.
