Anyone concerned that if re-elected he might try maintain power when his second term is up?

Should he attempt to retain power or refuse to vacate the WH, what remedies are available to ensure that he does? Since he is technically no longer POTUS could the U. S. Marshalls physically remove him? He has no authority to order any Government official into any sort of action.

I interpret the statement as he does not understand that he will if ejected this just his second term.

Bunch of educated rightist here, they are not Republicans, are lining up to vote for a man who does not understand what or how many terms he can be president.

That is the leadership we need.

Well, I don’t see how he can remain in office after a second term.

Could he remain in power? Kind of. Like president Obama. I strongly feel he is the good influence on Biden. He’s certainly smarter and more savvy than Joe ever was.

If Trump retains any control of the GOP after this next election, it will not be for the good of the party or of the country.

I’m not doom and glooming on him, just stating he has been divisive and a net negative, just not as bad as Biden.

When is the new President's official term begin? After swear-in or when the EV's have been tabulated? I assume after swear-in. What if he refuses to vacate the WH? Can some security forces be called in to physically remove him?

I expect that they are already plotting and scheming for ways to keep him in.

It's kinda amusing that Trump floated the 3rd term thing recently before the NRA.

I think he's just bloviating, for the press.

The amusing thing is that he claims he was elected twice.

"The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) to the United States Constitution limits the number of times a person can be elected to the office of President of the United States to two terms."

It doesn't say "served two terms", or "inaugurated" twice.

According to his narrative, lies, he's not eligible now to even be on the ballot.

That's an interesting POV.

There would have to be many changes in the way things are for him to even be on the ballot for a third term. But of course they have plans for many changes.

Trump has retained and expanded his power and control of the GOP since the last election, while not serving in the WH. Has he been good for the party or the country? Certainly, he will retain some influence over both the party and the country even if defeated in November.

What do mean "like president Obama"? There's a vast difference in whatever Obama's post-office influence/power is and Trump's, mostly in the basis for the "power" - lies. "Good influence on Biden"? - BS. Smarter and more savvy than Biden? If you give credit where due, in demagoguery, yea, Trump is more savvy.
