In December voting he is no longer in step w current GOP National Security Policy lead by President Trump.

The GOP is now the Grand Ole Putin party, and Hamas Party.

I have a lot of issues w Sen. McConnell his ability to work and bring good bills w Dems out of this Senate in funding Ukraine, Israel, and the Border are not them.

Let us let the Senate run like the House. The House has done so much. I mean they have picked what 2 Speakers in 5 votes. That is legislating right there.

Least effective House in the lifetime of anybody using this site.

I don’t disagree that the current house has been handicapped by internal infighting within the majority party.

I certainly can agree that I would not want to be involved in blessing policies made by Trump without being able to follow my own conscience regarding them. Quite often I found myself while agreeing with the policy, embarrassed by his advocacy of it.

So while Trump lost me as a vote, I’m not going to jump ship to the democratic side as they are NOT offering a better policy, they are just offering not being Trump.

I’m all for supporting Israel in its fight against Hamas. I can be convinced to give them financial support, but tend to disagree with that- why should we go into deficit spending for Israel’s defense concern, instead of them doing it?- but I’m not at all supportive of giving money or aid to Hamas even indirectly.

So where does that fit in the current voting?

Personally, I like Biden's policy of not publicly fellating Putin and Kim, not abandoning our Allies like Trump did the Kurds and Ukraine, upholding our commitments to NATO, investing in manufacturing here rather than offshoring to China and seeing that the Laws granting debt relief to public servants and borrowers who have paid student loans for decades are finally followed.

Lane, you're not going to like John Cornyn any better. He's not a trump ass-kisser either.
