The "Chinese"? The use of that word has broader implications. And a claim that isn't supported. We're talking about two people, if I got it straight, of Chinese nationality. There is no evidence presented that they were connected to the Chinese govt or a harmful agenda.

As I understood the facts, those arrested were affiliated with some research facility, if not cancelled by Trump already, and they claimed they intended to use the sample for research in a lab.

Of course neither I nor you know in fact what their intent was, only what they said it was. They could have been telling truth or lying.

But, regarding lying, which JTEX is known for, one notorious way of lying is to jump to conclusions, state them as fact, while leaving out important details.

In the above video some of those important details are made known, and some of the science.

In sum, it shows how Rightist lies are fomented and spewed, more than the premise of the OP.

And ironically, he did something that Rightists accuse the left biased media and the left of doing.

A partial answer is that my lack of experience with the fungus, harm to AG, and the associated disease and harm to humans in this country is explained in the video.

We can thank the science and the "deep state" of the FDA dept of AG, and scientists and research at universities and elsewhere, and countless others looking out for us all, and saving us from experience personally.

Yet Trump has made a yuge dent in all that, perhaps rendering much of it dysfunctional. And you rightists are fixated on blame shifting, and justification of your ideology and Trump.

You are far more dangerous to the public at large than China.

Your harm, as shown by you and JTEX for examples, isn't insidious, like a mirage, it's more like a hammer, obvious when seen correctly.

You’re not the center of the story - at least not everywhere.

For perspective - the Founders, with Jefferson and the philosophy of the Social Contract by John Locke and others, tried to instill some social ethics or virtue in addition to or as part of individual freedoms and rights.

Actually, as usual, I have a general idea before I type, but don't preconceive the whole thing, especially word for word. That's why I edit a lot. If I were to edit the profound wisdom in my post, I would add the word conjectured as an adjective to belief.
