Happy to talk about it. Sounds like great policy to me. Quit spending money on places we can do nothing about and start cleaning up our own act here in our own country — starting with DC.

I can give you a few countries we have ruined with those policies…can you give me an example of a single country we have made better?

So, are his policies going to include such things as ceasing aid and weapons sales to human rights violators, sucking up to totalitarian regimes, and supporting criminals domestically? The man is a danger to the nation and even the world. We can only hope he doesn't screw things up too badly.
The really sad thing is that there are no replacements who are worth a damn, going forward. The Democrats can't field a viable candidate because they are, well, Democrats. The Republicans can only offer confirmed ass-kissers, sycophants, and cowards. Trump's policies, while occasionally refreshing, are mostly poorly conceived and poorly executed.
The President is a repeat example of why we should probably not elect 80 year old men to run the country. Two presidents in a row, both showing obvious signs of mental decline, should be enough.
I hope we make it through the next couple of years OK, but I don't feel very optimistic about the future. Bill

If I read this right, the money was spent on knowledge of the countries, not on trying to fix them.
