I know the ag industry with Canada. I talked about it. Look up roadblocks to US ag in the dept of Ag. Even where quotas have not been reached Canada puts up blockades. To be fair, even neighboring provinces are told to bend over and spread them. They treat each other that way too.
But if a global economy is to work, why shouldnt tariffs be equitable? Just for the companies to make a larger profit from oversea labor? So much stuff we get now is shit, compared to what we used to get. LaCross boots, made in the USA. Made in China now. Walked outside in a brand new pair at -30, 10 min later they split. Got another pair when I took them back, same thing at only -20. Power tools are shit. I buy German made now. I would be happy to pay more for quality. Are global tariffs going to help with quality? Or just pay more for foreign crap? I care more about what I am getting for my money, than the price itself.

That has always been the trouble with MAGA. They tear everything down to show how rough-tough they are, with no real idea of where they are going or what they are trying to accomplish, and no real leadership to get them there. This poor MAGA fool sounds intelligent, but admits, by ducking the question, that he doesn't know where the goalposts are.

Maybe he needs to talk to Laura Loomer to get the answer.
