And Joe Biden cured all the windmill cancer and stopped anybody else from getting it.

I estimate about 50%, Saeed!!! Wink

Uhhh, wymple, apparently you haven't noticed - Trump is still the leading candidate for the GOP, he's using his indictments as his campaign and fund raising, and Heritage foundation has a 20,000 shock troop and authoritarian/fascist exec powers plan that meshes with Trump's and Bannon's.

The "insurrection" is still ongoing, results pending.

Indictments? Who cares? Donald Trump backers say they don't trust government anyway

FYI - if you ID as "conservative" nowadays, Trump owns you.

Four years ago my father thought Trump was sent by God to save our nation.

Today he admits he was wrong. At a recent family get-together, instead of being opinionated at dinner he had a quieter, more thoughtful expression and didn't say a lot.

When I asked whether he'd changed his still smart mind about Trump, he nodded. Jamuary 6, Kushner's Saudi deal, 91 criminal charges in four separate trials, the rape allegations had shaken his beliefs.

As a Replican voter for six decades, Dad doesn't know what to do. I think he'd vote for Howdy Doody if given the chance.

Well, I think it's worse to believe in the wrong stuff, but to not know what to believe is just a little bit better, not much.

At least he's influenced by facts and evidence and able to interpolate what that means re what he believed true AND the trajectory of those facts and evidence for the future.

Lots of people just go into a dumfounded mode, when their belief system is messed up with overwhelming facts and evidence. It's called cynicism. Some retreat deeper into their beliefs, ID, or religion. Where practically all MEGA people are coming from is that they deeply distrust government, and are dumbfounded.

There already has been and there's gonna be more of what your father experienced - just a matter of time.
