Now, stupid people have plenty of experience of not understanding. It can be 5th grade math, or discourses that require advanced reasoning. And they have experienced since childhood that if they don't understand, it's something ADVANCED going on. So they get impressed and start yapping about Trump playing 4D chess.

Smart people, on the other hand, are used to understand advanced stuff. They know that if they don't understand, it is often because it's stupid. The idea of supporting russia instead of Ukraine. The ideas of tariffs, because the maga hats should be sewn in the US.

So stupid people cheer on Trump, and smart people don't. Easy.

You are saying the choice is socialism or authoritarianism (perhaps fascism). and you choose the latter as a remedy to your perception of socialism, in order to "retain the America many have known and still love".

How far are you and MAGAts willing to go with "free rein"? Do you actually think you are in charge of the reins guiding and/or restraining Trump? FYI, it's not about that. Do you actually think Trump is acting in good faith or good will on your behalf, for the goal of continuity and integrity of the Principles of the rule of law?
