Only the best people there too!

"The nation's most powerful gun lobby is flagging at a time when it should be ascendant, considering Donald Trump - a staunch gun rights advocate - is returning to the White House with promises of protecting the 2nd Amendment no matter his opposition."

I'd take issue with the staunch gun rights advocate part. I think that he'd support the opposite if it benefited him financially or politically. We;ll see if he ousts Dettleman on day one.

Give me a home where the buffalo roam and I'll show you a house full of buffalo shit.

Self defense/gun right is peoples choice given to us by gods free will
To hell with government bullshit to tell us they’ll take care of of us
Have mother , I don’t need another one
Most idiotic thing government can do is to restrict our free will

Never been lost, just confused here and there for month or two

Of course. He showed us his round heels on the bump-stock issue.
There is an argument to be made that it is similar in nature to the Pederson Device, but that's not why he rolled over.

The NRA is trying to dig itself out of the hole that LaPierre and his cronies put them in.

I don't think they have wholly done so yet.

I do think they are the largest and potentially the most important gun rights and safety org, but they need to get back to basics, and what is more, not look on themselves as a way to make a comfortable living for the leadership.

>$60 million in revenue, it shouldn't be too hard to retrench and concentrate on core functions, and divesting themselves of unnecessary fluff.

Frankly, when a nonprofit has that big of a investment value its generally a sign that they are not behaving right.
