Ammo shortage has broken
Seeing and hearing about ammo on the shelves.

Friend who works in gun shop down state has 9mm PMC 11.99 a box.

Whole sale is trying to ship back orders getting turn down as retailers do not want to get stuck with high price ammo.

The dam is leaking badly and about to break.

GOOD! And I have no sympathy for the hoarders who got stuck with overpriced ammo with the intend of screwing their fellow shooters.

Unless things go south.

In the next 10 years there is going to be a lot of ammo at estate sales.

Agree with Norman.
Wish there were some reloading components. I’m in decent shape, many shooters are not.

Let's hope that is the case. tu2

Well, maybe THIS TIME folks will wake up + buy for future use, not wait until the last minute when things get scarce + pull a "Chicken Little". I'm not talking about buying everything under the sun, but the stuff that you will use eventually anyway. This problem seems to come around every election time + even more so when a Democrat takes office.

A few days ago I got an online ad from Bruno's.

Primers: $110/1000.

Local Wal-Mart had no ammo a few weeks ago.

Good selection of shotgun shells yesterday at normal prices.

Reloading supplies well come down soon as the companies stop putting all them into ammo.

Wife and I went to Cabela's on Sunday and they honestly had more 223/5.56 ammo than I've ever seen in one place. Just piles and piles of the stuff. No quantity limits, still a tad expensive, and in a variety of quantities to purchase. They also had some hunting shotshell ammo for the upcoming seasons and a better-but-still-limited selection of regular rifle calibers.

The thing I noticed the most was - it was all STILL on the shelves.
