How about that weather

Granted we didn't get the 7+ inches that they were projecting but this is April- 'April showers bring May flowers' as the saying goes. This should be a time of transitioning; Sap should be running, tulips flowering, man getting out of hibernation but instead we have cold and snow.

What bums me out the most is that I dont think I will get enough syrup this year. Despite the weather, a lot of the trees are starting to bud out and the sap just aint flowing. Sigh!

Well my friend,I hope you get your syrup. My bees have decided to move because of the mild winter.I anticipated a real winter as in when the drones are ejected,but no! Have to start again right about now; R/E tax time...my eye surgery time (personal business but non the same important).Too much money needed + none right here.Best of luck to you.
