Bill/OregonDo you check the dates on threads?
I usually don't but I don't hafta 'cause I'm retired ...

More than once I have posted on a thread that turns out to be years old, for instance, the Circular saw recommendation thread in the DIY forum. It's 10 years old.
Feel a little silly when the date of the original post is pointed out, but I am usually in good company, and no harm is done.

congomikeBill...glad I am not the only one to do that! I answered a WTB thread on another forum and got a very nice reply stating that he had found what he was looking for shortly after posting the thread...4 years previous to my answer....

Norman ConquestOn the other hand, you might find a sleeper that just was sitting there. Mox-Nix, it still doesn't cost one a penny to look.

Norman ConquestIndeed! Last week when I left the surgery center, I was insulted that they put a wrist bracelet on me saying I was a falling risk. Like I was some old fart; aw hell, I guess I am now, but I don't suffer it gracefully.
