GatogordoWhen confronted with the choice between a long neck or any other container, I always say, "Give it to me just like my mother did." With the possible exception of good draught, nothing beats a cold long necked glass bottle for beer delivery in my opinion.

You know how they like to bring you a cold mug or glass to pour the bottle into? I always skip doing that and drink from the bottle. The beer stays just marginally colder...

Agreed! Cans seem almost designed to make getting a healthy sized swig impossible.
As to the coolness factor, I don't care. I prefer room-temperature, dark beers anyway.
My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.
