His son, Bruce, and daughter are US citizens. Apparently Bruce was injured in the attack as well. Too bad they apparently weren't armed, probably not allowed to be. Can't have whites killing all those po black Africans, doncha know.

Gatogordo: Bruce was only slightly injured. One of Campbells men was cut pretty badly but will be OK. I lived on the mine site for 4 month so I know some of what was going on. Campbell did not have a permit for a gun He did not want to go through all the trouble of getting on he applied once but the poloice cheif refused to issue it The chief thought it would look bad for him to have Campbell armed.I talked to the camp wed after hearing from friends in Kenya that Campbell was murdered. And as always there are two completly diffrent storys of who did it. But i can tell you there are several corrupt officails involed Campbell has pics. of one of them at the thugs camp. I had long discusions with campbell about his security but he was detemanond not to change his life style.I hope to return to the mind some day with Bruce but it will not be the same with out Campbell. He was one of the most interesting people I have eve known to chat with around camp and to learn from in the mine. He will be missed
