Will be in Seattle in two weeks, so where to get good meal and beer there? Not looking for "fancy dating restaurants" . . .

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Jiri:

Since I haven't been there since likely before you were born, I am not going to suggest anything.

However, if you go to :

https://www.tripadvisor.com/Re...ington.html#MAINWRAP

and work the different links on left side of page, for example, "pubs" "cheap eats", "mid range eats" etc you should come up with some good places near your location. Hope this helps, I'll probably ask the same thing when I go to Prague, which is on my "gotta go" list.

Was there in 2003, 6 days of 85-90 deg, and no rain. All these places were good but I don't remember much about them.

From my Seattle buddies

This is always good for new restuarants… http://seattle.eater.com/maps/...-restaurants-heatmap

#3 - Ba Bar – Great Vietnamese and really good happy hour. Sister restaurant Monsoon is also terrific.
#17 – Lark - Is great seasonal northwest food.
#23 – Matts in the market – Great spot for lunch
#26 – Revel – really great Asian food. The beef short rib rice bowl is terrific. Their other restaurant Joule might be better.
#30 – Sitka and Spruce – Very interesting menu in a great setting. Other restaurant Corson Building serves family style dinners .

Others –
· Goldfinch Tavern in the Four Seasons is very good and great atmosphere for meeting out of towners.
· Nishino or Sushi Kashiba for world class Sushi
· I really love the pizza at Dino’s Tomato Pie
· The Thai food at Big Uncle is really awesome.
· The Burgers at Great State Burgers are very good – Shake Shack rip off.
· Fonda La Cotrina – Great Mexican in Georgetown
· Turkish Delight – This hole in the wall in the market has amazing Chicken and Lentils for lunch.
· Mistral Kitchen is one of my favorites.
· Mamnoon is great Middle Eastern food.

Here's a late reply. Pacific Inn in Wallingford, a Seattle neighborhood not far from downtown. My favorite dive bar and pub food. The owner must weigh 200 kg. Good burgers, fish and chips, and deep fried oysters.

Lived here all my life and used to be a frequent customer at higher end places. They're all gone now, replaced by noisy joints that don't like meat.
