Anyone have any first hand experience with CLL? Seems like I'm fixing to get some.

My grandmother died from it.She was 80.

Get well. I believe my wife's grandfather had it when he passed away. It did not kill him. He was 96. From what I understand, it is very common in older people and can be controlled.

jdollar, you only give me six and a half more years. I believe I'll go with MeMe's grandfather, if you don't mind.

It figures I would save my underlying condition for a pandemic.

I was diagnosed with CLL in 2017. There are different "forms" of the cancer. I'm not in the worst group. Chemo was not an option for my type of CLL. I've been taking Imbruvica since Feb 2019. It took almost a year to get blood work and other symptoms back to normal.

My oncologist told me not to spend a great deal of time surfing the web, I would just get discouraged, but I figure with politics being such a f---ing mess; given a choice, I prefer cancer.

Good lord, Ken, I am sorry to hear this. Hope yours turns out to be one of the most controllable forms.
And yes, the politics are weighing heavily on all of us.
