Bill/OregonHere's one to argue about!
These are fun, and I am down with Sparky's being one of the best in New Mexico (I actually prefer the green chile cheese burger at the Oso Grill across from Smokey Bear State Park in Capitan), but I lived for four or five years in Redmond/Eagle Crest, Oregon, and for some reason never even heard of Dandy's in Bend.
www.rd.comThe Best Burger in Every State
Whether thick and juicy, piled high with toppings, or oozing with cheese, the best burger in each state proves nothing hits the spot quite like the classic dish.

Kensco"Best" isn't what it used to be. I was reading an article this morning about best BBQ places i the U.S. The Top 10 included one in Connecticut and another in New York.
They are always having these surveys around here about the Best Lawyer, Best Dentist, Best Pilates Studio, Best Plumber, etc. They beg you to "vote" for them.
Then they will send around a magazine called "Best Picks For 2025". "Best" doesn't mean much any more.

TCLouisDoubt either still exist, but Bennie's Green Chili Cheeseburger in Bosque/Peralta, NM or the Green Chili cheeseburger at Margarita's in TA were pretty dang good.

Bill/OregonTC, I had read about Bennie's somewhere but never looked it up. I'll check when I move back to NM.

I have only had the "Owls" ABQ version, but I think both beat the "Owl Cafe" (San Antonio) burger
