Adam Lanza father?

J_ZolaAdam Lanza father?
Were is this guy? Why has there been no information about Adam from his father. Is he going to walk away from this mess and give the blame to the Ex wife. His kid is becoming the poster boy for mental health and gun control.

GatogordoIn this case, at least, I don't thing you can blame the father for his son's mental illness(es). I'd hate to be in his shoes but, if I was, I'd probably be doing the same thing, that is, keeping a low profile.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.
NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.
I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Singleshot03The father should share in the blame for a variety of reasons but according tho this report
"Children whose fathers suffer from mental illnesses are much more likely to grow up to develop anxiety, depression and even addictions to drink and drugs...
Father's mental healthns."

Singleshot03So where is the father? Was he a positive role model for his son? Was he in his sons life?

Still waiting for you to name those reasons. Questions are not reasons.

That is bullshit.
The country allows anyone and everyone to reproduce without restraint. Are you going to take some of the blame for that?
If his father is to blame because of his fathers mental illness does that mean his grandfather is also to blame?

meteHow many 'crazies' are that way because of adverse reactions to drugs like those in the Prozac group ?. We already know of a number of them. The shrinks can share some of the responsibility !!

Norman ConquestI'm with Gato 100-% on this one.Seems to be the theme of the day to always look for a goat.If my son did something like this I would keep a low profile as well;primarily because it would break my heart that he had done this + that is private misery.

Gatogordo, how do you know that the father is not to blame?
None of us know because we do not know all the facts.
21 January 2013, 09:11
wasbeemanAt this point, what good does it to blame anyone except the perp?
You sound like a bunch of @#!!&% democrats. Pointing fingers and assigning blame.
What should the father do?? Take an ad out in the newspaper? Stand up real tall and let a bunch of sleazy media types butcher him like they're doing to the mother? Let's get Dr Phil in here. He can 'splain it all to you. Or maybe Oprah.
Aim for the exit hole

Pirate's LifeI don't think you can lay any blame on the father. I'm pretty sure I read that he and the mother had been divorced. Since the punk was with Mama, it seems logical that she was the one in day to day contact. Besides, the punk was legally an adult and therefore he and only he is responsible for his actions.

J_ZolaI would like to know more about Adam.
Such as,
1) Was he violent growing up
2) Was he on drugs
3) Did he play video games
4) Why was he removed from school and homed schooled.
22 January 2013, 03:37
J_Zola5) Did he and the mother ever try to get him help growing up. If so what was done and was it on going before the shooting.
I am sure I can think of a few more.
