I've never been. Highly subjective I know, but is it worth a weekend trip to see the exhibit hall?

How does it compare with the Shot Show for example?

I have been to 3 I had a good time at them all. I attend the membership meeting vote and even try and speak to the issues.

The NRA is not perfect by any means but if you can I would suggest that you attend.

I go as often as humanly possible. This is an annual event for the pops and I. So far, I've been to six of them and they have all been fantastic. I have watched the NRA population and interest grow in them from a causal gathering to 80,000 people.

This year is in Louisville, same as 2008, and it was fantastic. I can't make it this year due to work and other vacation plans, but would be there in a second. Plan to go and spend the whole weekend at the show.

Go, and don't think twice about it.

What is at the convention ? I just signed up as a life member.

I have family in Louisville and I am thinking of going.
