NRA annual convention
I've never been. Highly subjective I know, but is it worth a weekend trip to see the exhibit hall?
How does it compare with the Shot Show for example?

p dog shooterI have been to 3 I had a good time at them all. I attend the membership meeting vote and even try and speak to the issues.
The NRA is not perfect by any means but if you can I would suggest that you attend.
Been to the shot show also it is very interesting to.

Bill/OregonBest part is trying to guess which of the politicians hob-nobbing with Wayne LaPierre will be indicted within the following 12 months.

Pa.FrankI've been to 3. Two in Philadelphia and one in Dallas.
Definitely worth going to at least once in your life.

ClaymanI go as often as humanly possible. This is an annual event for the pops and I. So far, I've been to six of them and they have all been fantastic. I have watched the NRA population and interest grow in them from a causal gathering to 80,000 people.
This year is in Louisville, same as 2008, and it was fantastic. I can't make it this year due to work and other vacation plans, but would be there in a second. Plan to go and spend the whole weekend at the show.
Go, and don't think twice about it.
