All those flipping numbers represent a lot of hope, dreams, jobs, and free enterprise.

NormanConquestWell, they're all in trouble now, just like everyone else. As to the chicken franchise, I am not in the mood for a "Bucket Of Beaks".

ClaymanVery neat. I had no idea Wendy's fell off the map that far. I consider them the best of anything listed in that graphic.

Mark ClarkIn South Africa for lunch we had KFC and Fanta one day.
Sitting under the mopane trees discussing the morning’s hunting it tastes way better than at home in the city.

In 1980-84 I lived on Dominos pizza in Omaha. It was as close to NY style pizza that I've ever had. Not sure what happened but it is nothing like it was in 1981.
In the mid to late 1990's I think a Subways franchise was $10.00

NormanConquestIn 1970 there was a Shakey's pizza at 29th + Guadalupe in Austin that we would go to for lunch as they had a .99 cent all you could eat buffet. I think we put them out of business.
