Budweiser's new beer 1933 repeal reserve review
At one time in my life, I could out shoot, out fuck, and out fight anyone I knew. I've gotten older and wiser now, so I have to pass on the fighting. Wink

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Yup.

The legal battles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...er_trademark_dispute

Apparently the beer is called "Czechvar" in the US, track it down and compare to Bud.

German beer laws:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinheitsgebot

And you know how seriously ze Germans take their rules... Big Grin

F@ck the German. We kicked their ass so they can make blasers and scopes and second tier cars.

Bud is my beer of choice if the much better Mexican beers are not available.

Yesterday I turned down Bud to drink crappy kingfisher on tap in Bombay - I regret it. Should have had the king of beers.

Mike

I have news for you buddy, all those Mexican beers you like are actually German beers in the first place... Big Grin

Kingfisher is bad but not as bad as bud, must have been a bad pint.

Ghubs - in India always drink kingfisher in a bottle - actually drink all beers from a bottle.

Always stop imposing your euro trash inferiority by claiming Mexican beers are copies. They are the pride of Mexico and the US.

Even a good internet handbagging at twenty paces? Big Grin

See kids, even talk of beer leads to fights let alone drinking it! Big Grin

Bill,

That man gone and shot the red bobble right off your hat, you gonna let him get away with that pardner?

Big Grin

Oh, Charlie's just trying to "give me the business." I suspect he is actually a nice guy in person -- or after I can get a couple of Lone Stars down him.

hilbily

By the way, Ghubert, that hat is a museum-quality replica of a Hudson's Bay Company clerk's hat circa 1810 or so, made for me by the talented Judy McPherson of Canada. You see them in the works of Peter Rindisbacher and other artists of the early Fur Trade period.

Trying to get a couple of Lone Stars down me will lead back to the "out-fight" above. That hat looks about as silly as your taste in beers.

Hmmm. My ex-wife thought that hat was silly too.

With all the really good regional and local beers that have sprung up across the nation I'm surprised the large brewers are doing as well as they are.

The large brewers noticed and have been quietly acquiring the small guys.

We have a phenominal micro brewery industry here in the Austin area. Also the wine industry is going great guns from here in Central to west Tx.The Llano estacoto wines are fabulous. I must admit although I drink very little beer these days that the 1970's recipe for Lone star is quite different from what is offered today.

Never mistake motion for action.

Randy: Texas wines? What are the varieties that do best in the Llano soil and climate?
