Now we know why Musk is such a visionary
He is apparently stoned and hallucinating

https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/ne...e-podcast-interview/

And Tesla stock is down 9% today as a result of his stupidity

I find the "irony?" amusing that the stock shares were going for $420.00. That ,BTW is the police call sign 420 of Marijuana in use.

I got out at $360. I no longer care about Musk or TSLA.

There is a lot of new EV tech coming out from real car companies - if one is into glitter, unicorns, rainbows, butterflies and the EV lifestyle. Tesla will soon be in the innovation back seat.

So much for Musk's "disruption". wave

Smart move. The stock is now about $260, having lost 30% in 1 month! The board of directors has a fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders to stop this insane crap and they are doing nothing. The class action lawsuits should make a lot of lawyers very rich- at the company’s expense.....

Funny thing, Musk may be barred from Space X as well over his little display. The US Air Force has a strict No Drug policy... Go figure. Roll Eyes

In about six months Musk will just be Ol' Whatshisname...

They have no one but themselves to blame for that. It's what you get for investing in an agenda instead of investing in solid financials.

I am surprised the Musk-eteers haven’t shown up to explain that all successful CEO’s should appear on live comedy shows and light up a joint. The SEC, Air Force, and and plaintiff’s lawyers would surely love it. Oh yeah, that’s right- he hasn’t been successful in the car biz yet....

In any investment that goes south,we have only our selves to blame;but that is why I take advice from my financial advisor.I admit that they can be wrong as well but I know they are more versed on this than I am.

Investors can make a lot of money from mass hysteria. The trick it to know when to bail. If you just invest on fundamentals, you can miss a lot of big opportunities, but it's like reading tea leaves - there are no clear signs when it's time to bail.

For those who actually fall for the mass hysteria, well, there is no real solution for that. They are the suckers (some who claim to be highly educated) who drive up the sock price - so they do serve a function for the investors. But at the end of the day, you just sorta feel sorry for them while you reinvest your winnings. All I can say to them is "Thanks for believing!"

Still surprised everyone bitches about a stock up from $17 ipo to $288 Big Grin

I am visiting my refinery investment in Montana - I think Tesla/electric car and shale driven long term collapse in oil has been a great benefit to us refining.

Elon will be Elon - still worth billions and rolling like a rock star.

Funny how Elon's once biggest supporters are now chirping that it's no big deal Tesla is falling apart - after all he's still got lots of money.

So much for the highly educated investment janitors.

Not being an investment industry insider, is a highly educated investment janitor or a credited investor generally thought of as representing the pinnacle of professional standing in the field?

Yes, yes of course we all know that an accredited investor is someone with a significant minimum net worth. We are more interested in the more exclusive, less well known designation of a credited investor. Where does a credited investor slot in with a highly educated investment janitor?

Typo or a fib? Most folks don't take the time to capitalize their typos . . . you know the difference between a capital A and capital C surely. In the words of Collin Raye, I guess that's your story and your sticking to it.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Like what, raising money in a Ponzi scheme? Bernie Madoff did a fine job of that. What companies has he started that actually turned a profit after he siphoned off his cut?

It's no wonder doctors are the usual targets of fraud judging by the amount of ignorance about financial matters displayed here.

"Amazing things": Starting a successful electric car company from scratch in the modern era. Starting SpaceX, a modern rocket tourism company, from scratch is another. His detractors probably can't fire a bottle rocket or build a wooden wagon.

Yup

He is a full on whack job too. But he can do stuff.

Last I checked more model s were sold in Germany than s class Mercedes-Benz’s. More model 3 will be sold in 4q than all bmw in the us.

I am still not sure he will make any money. But given Saudi sovereign and tencent have been 5 percent buyers of company at higher than ipo valuation for whole company - he has access to capital.

I was unaware that SpaceX was a successful rocket tourism company. I know they sold some damn expensive tickets/promises to a lot of rich people who are still awaiting their purchased trip.....if it wasn’t for supply missions to the International Space station and a few satellite launches, SpaceX would be burning money faster than Tesla- and that would be hard to do. Maybe in an alternate universe Musk makes money for shareholders, but profits certainly elude him in this timeline.

Spacex financials and raises - dated to 2016. New data is available but one has to pay $$ to get it as spacex is a private company.
