pagosawingnutI'm in the propane business in CO. The commodities brokers are driving the price up just like they did in 1989. Wait until you fill it up the next time..... Rack price in Conway, KS started off at 4.75 per gallon this morning. That's the price to the retailer and then he has to put his markup on it. Plus the extended cold snap on the east coast hasn't helped.
One of the factors, which doesn't help ease the mind is, the EPA has not approved a new refinery in over 35 years and some of the older refineries have shut down, causing shortages in a lot of areas. Contact your congressman and complain.
