Live OakPostage
A member on here advertised a new produce his company is producing. I did some research to figure out if it would even work for me. Best I can guess it might. So, went to the web sight to order one. Fell out of my chair! We are not talking about an anvil! It would fit in the USPS smallest flat rate box. The thing was $95, postage was $48! When did postage get out of hand? Thing is not for me!

Aspen Hill AdventuresSounds unrealistic. Is part of the cost for insurance?
Sounds like shipping and handling, with the emphasis on handling...

Norman ConquestThe smallest USPS flat rate box is $10 something + the next largest size is $15 something. All come with $100.00 insurance. That was the prices last week, but who knows now? Prices have gone up astronomically on everything these days. My annual P.O. box rent has gone up to $182.00. I'm sure that there will be another stamp price increase soon as well. However, the take home pay has stayed the same.

K EvansI buy quite a bit on AR classifieds, the two closest US Pot Offices are a friggin’ joke…many days there is not clerk to sell one a money order. If I send something to someone on AR, tracking might show it at the local PO for 3-4 days! And we pay for this incompetence!
Rebecca brought an expensive pair of sunglasses from Zim to be repaired under warranty, no big deal. Glasses sent off, repaired and returned. A client going to Zim agreed to take them back to the PH. Glasses put in mail last Monday ( for a 90 mile trip) supposed to have arrived yesterday and tonight the glasses show to be in Birmingham, Alabama
