David Culpepper? for You Lawyers
I'm selling my house and need to get a specific power of attorney to sign for someone that now lives in Alabama, the house being sold is in Georgia. Is there a website where I can get the appropriate forms and fill in the blanks and then have the person in Alabama sin it?

Texas KillartistI'm not a 'computer' type lawyer. Just remember, crap in, crap out. One of our local District judges no longer accepts 'forms' from certain 'sources'.
If the house being sold is in Ga, I suggest contacting a Ga Re lawyer to assist/prepare the paperwork .
Hell, I do this for myself and I am a lawyer.

GatogordoI'm not a lawyer, but why not just send the required signature papers to Alabama and have them signed and notarized there?

NormanConquestCat,of course you're not a lawyer. You had an easy simple solution that would work + not cost anybody anything.

lavacaGato and Norman,
You are correct of course. I am a lawyer, but I don't know the first thing about real estate transactions. I just handle litigation after everything goes wrong.
Better to get it right in the first place. JMHO
