I was coyote hunting about a mile away from this when it happened. I heard a loud bang and didn't think much of it. Driving back the road was closed off and every fire engine/police in the county was there. Didn't put the two together until I found out what happened on the nightly news. Even about a mile away it sounded surprisingly loud.
