Josh was just notified that he is one of the 3 selected as the best kicker in the nation. Charlie mentioned before that the previous votes didn't count. He was somewhat right, but I think it opened the eyes of the voters. This vote does help in determining the winner.

Garrett Muhlestein, brother of Gray Muhlestein-TCU redshirt freshman QB, is getting votes together for Josh from Baghdad. Garrett is in the Marines in Iraq. Gray is soliciting votes from his fellow Froggie's team mates. I think we may be getting votes also from Matt Joeckel, TCU backup QB, and his family. I did visit with Matt's dad yesterday.

Josh won the fan vote by a large margin. We will fly to Florida for the ESPN Home Depot awards ceremony next week. We are proud that he is one of the best 3 in the nation.
