Mitch Mitchell- R.I.P.

Mitch Mitchell (left), surviving member of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, died Nov 12 at 61. One of the greatest and most influential drummers in pop music history, I was fortunate to see him perform in 68 & 69 in Houston.

I also think its to bad their all gone. Being 47yrs old, I didnt start getting into Jimi till about 1976 or 1977...sad to say to late to go see him. To this day I never change radio channels if one of his songs comes on. "HEY JOE" is tied for my all time favorite song with The Rolling Stones "GIMME SHELTER".
