NormanConquestI'm just hoping that Bass Pro will honor my Cabelas points.
Never mistake motion for action.

LuckyduckerNC, I received a letter from the company explaining the change of ownership, because I have a Cabela's Visa card, and they stated that the Cabela's club points are redeemable at Bass Pro also. It seems like it is business as usual for the foreseeable future, but beyond that I don't have a clue.

df06I checked out at Bass Pro a few weeks ago. After swiping my cabelas visa, the cashier asked if I wanted to use my points. I said yes.

NormanConquestCabelas gun room has always been overpriced. That being said,I want to use my points at Bass Pro if they have a gun room. I've saved them for years to use on something I would never drop the cash for.The one I plan to visit is in Round Rock,Tx.

NortonI've always found Cabela's hunting clothing to be excellent.....redhead not so much although admittedly I haven't bought much of the latter.
Why is this the end of the world to the OP?

It’s not the end yet but it’s getting close. The level of service at Cabela’s sure has gone down hill since selling out.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.
NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.
I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.
