Oaks show
Went to Pa to the Oaks gun show (near Philly). I haven't been to a show since before the china virus.

We saw maybe 8 savage 99's with prices all over.

guy had 2 clip 308 - 99's. good condition, marked $1795.00 each. I almost fell on the floor when I saw the prices. maybe the scopes were Schmidt Bender (kidding)

guy had 2 vintage solid frame , 1 in 303 and 1 in 300, both were $695. The 300 was pitted on the outside

takedown 300 - $695

solid frame 308 - $750

there were a couple of 110's and a stevens 325 with scope, didn't notice the caliber.

maybe 2 or three more.

Saw 1 CZ in 416 Rigby
a few Voere Shikar bolts actions (not mauser).
Nikko golden eagle (the schultz larsen type)

crazy war mauser prices.

a few Class 3 dealers, one had 3 MP40's

A lot of AR stuff , I 'd say almost 3/4 of the show.
Many Packy damascus knives masquerading as customs.

We don't go to that show anymore. We call it the P.T.Barnum show because they really cater to the suckers..
There are a lot of tables, but if you removed the pickle guy, the jerky guys, the dozen or so T-shirt guys, the sock guys, the jewelry broad, and the cheap (but not inexpensive) knife guys, and the military surplus guys selling European crap, the nazi junk dealers, and the few odds and ends dealers, you would only need one of the halls and cut the size of this show in half.
and even with that, better than half the gun tables are loaded with black guns, black gun parts..

At the last show I wandered around for almost 3 hours and ended up buying 5 boxes of Norma 380 for 19 bucks a box and I had to pay 15 bucks for the privilege of shopping there.

Not goin there anymore. I'll stick to the smaller shows or buy online.

The Salt Lake City show isn't what it once was, but it's still worth a visit if I'm there at the right time...

I look at it like it's Disney Land or a movie but with exercise.

9mm ammo was dirt cheap, turkish stuff was going for $200 a case ($10 a box). Blazer was $250-275.
