GeorgeSThis is due to speculators buying up cases of .223, .308, 9mm, and even .22LR to sell at inflated prices on Craigslist, Gunbroker, etc.
There is no other way for regular folks to buy any ammunition in those chamberings.

Norman ConquestRich,you have a 6% state sales tax w/o an additional municiple tax? We have a 6.25% state sales tax + an additional municipality sales tax that usually caps out in most cities @ 8.5%
