Cabinet makers need help
I have 3 long drawers beneath my 48" stove where I store my pots and pans. It's about 44" wide 22" deep with two 18" 100# Ferrari glides.
The right glide on one of the three gets stuck after the first inner most/smallest "step," which moves flawlessly. I replaced that glide it with another (exact - to be clear) one and it still gets stuck after the first step. I don't recall how long it was ok before the second one went on the fritz.
In the back of my mind I thought someone told me this is really a tracking/geometry issue rather than a hardware one. Do I need a thin shim? Do I need to put a third one beneath the drawer? Or more glides on the side? Any tricks to help solve the problem would be appreciated.
