They came out with "idiot" lights years ago because people couldn't read gauges. Now Millennials can't understand the "idiot" lights.

My first car was a 1969 Dodge. It had an owner's manual that was *maybe* 20 pages long front to back. And it was only printed in English.
I think the one for my '12 Ford must be a couple hundred pages long, and most of those are safety warnings.
