They Ruined Google Earth!
I like reading old books.

And when a place is mentioned, I like to look at its location on Google Earth.

Was great.

Until now.

Someone has taken it upon himself to put the same name locations in cities, instead of the proper location as before!

You look for a place along the Amazon River, and you get a street in Peru!!??

One time looking for a sandwich.
Into Google Earth I put "Deli"
It shows me New Delhi India.
So I look there for a deli in Delhi… found a couple that looked good.

So being obsessed I check prices for flights immediately.
Was a round trip available for $900. Nobody wants to go to India in the summer.

I am really disappointed.

I like reading old books, and they mention places which I find very interesting to see where they actually are.

Now mostly one gets a street or restaurant with that name in cities!!

Utterly STUPID!

Go to Mapquest and type in the city name. Switch to satellite view. Google has also blurred certain submarine features that were visible in previous iterations. Mapquest data still shows them. There is a very interesting collection of shapes on the sea floor off of Brunswick, GA. Eeker
