South Texas Coast Boat/Marina advice?
I know this is a long shot, but I just bought a 1977 32 foot Marinette "yacht" located on Pickwick Lake in Tenn. My plan is to, one way or the other, get it to S Texas in the Rockport-Port Lavaca general area to a marina. I'd like one that could preferably dry dock it when not in use, work on it if necessary, and, in general be a friendly place to go to. I may have to settle for leaving it wet year around, but that would be a distant second choice. I don't know squat about larger boats, this is going to be a learning experience. Confused

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

the "house of boats" in the rockport area can off load it from whatever trailer that you might have... check out the Aransas county navigation district for a marina..in pt Lavaca, there's a marina, that allows liveaboards...I think it belongs to the county also...most of the marinas are not equipped to haul out a boat that size, they cater to the 20-something footers..

go big or go home ........
