505 gibbsDamn Dennis, did you put a vacuum in that Elands Ass and suck the skin onto it?

The Artistry of WildlifeGibby, Nice aint it. It's dang hard to keep an eland from drumming. You don't see much detail in Eland mounts, muscles and tight dewlaps are not the norm with most taxidermist on eland.
Thanks

I have actually found the opposite, most production taxidermist don't take the time to re-create the detail that is in the front of a mature bull eland which is a lot of
loose skin, extending sometimes as high as under the jowls to as low as the brisket. Rather, they do minimal work on the form and then focus on getting the skin tight against the minimal detail that came or was put on the form. This results in a very stiff, tight skinned appearance, as you see on this mount. Just my $.02
