JBrownBear rugs with holes in each armpit?
I recently saw a video about hunting in Romania. In the video the hunters toured a hunting museum that had a bunch a bear rugs. Each bear had 4 dinner plate size round holes in the hide, one at each armpit(legpit?).
I am wondering what the reason would be for the holes. I was hoping that one of you might enlighten me.

lorefumasomething "traditional" in romanian bear rug. They put these rosettes to cover the zone with bad hair. Being ultra stretched to maximize size -these bears in museums are the CIC world records (i mean... number 1-2-3-4-5-6...) shoot by Ceausescu so maximize size was a must...- the armpit hairs are more sparse than natural
