Some filled boar tusks that were mounted on a placque three years ago are beginning to show some cracks. Any recommendations as to what I can apply to stabilize them? No pieces have chipped, but I'd like to prevent any such problems. I'm no taxidermist but I'm a pretty good DIYer. Thanks to those who reply.

I found a solution to my question and it might help anyone else who might have the same problem. To follow the path from question to reply to actually doing what was suggested, go to the taxidermy section of the go2gbo.com forum. It was easy to do and it turned out very well.
